Inspired by light and movement Jake's paintings are a reflection of the world around him.
This assertion can be clearly seen in his colourful prints which embody the spirit, and often a sense of speed and movement of his subjects by using lively and bold 'sprays' of colour against softer washes of translucent pigment, and brisk strokes to create the main form.
As well as exhibitions in London and the south of England he has undertaken many fine art commissions for individuals and notable organisations including The National Trust.
In addition to his work, Jake demonstrates and tutors all over the country and runs his own workshops and masterclasses in Dorset.
