Ursula Huber
Ursula Huber brings to her sculptures on glass a cubo-futuristic slant that highlights the sign within a cleanness of form rendered elegant by the glazing of the glass, which removes the blindness due to the glittering of the light.
Huber's latest works in the form of Heads present themselves as mute aphoristic sentences fraught with mystery, something likes the totems of Easter Island.
Ursula Huber gave fresh vigor to the form, giving these Heads all the complexity of a pensive existence in a pondered work. Otherwise, the form would have been merely hinted at.
