Irene Rezzonico

Born in Aachen, Germany in 1946. Irene Rezzonico moved to Frankfurt in 1954 and spent most of her time at boarding school. Irene studied drawing in Frankfurt from 1961 to 1963. Then, in 1965, Rezzonico moved to Italy continuing her studies in drawing and began her artistic career. In 1987 she moved to Cave Creek, Arizona in order to study, initiating a series of drawings and sculptures inspired by the life of the Hopi Indians. In 1991 Irene Rezzonico returned to Germany where she now lives and works in Kassel.
